A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.

O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janābah,1 then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women2 and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allāh does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.
O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that ye may give thanks.
O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.

Qur’an 5:6 distinguishes the person in major ritual impurity and commands full purification before prayer. Read the complete verse so ghusl remains connected to prayer, wudu, tayammum, capacity and the stated absence of intended hardship.
Read the complete evidence panel before reducing it to a step. The Arabic, named translation, source locator and explanation have different roles; preserving those roles lets a learner worship with confidence without turning a short guide into an unsupported ruling.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
The Arabic term and its case-by-case legal triggers require qualified fiqh explanation. This resource teaches a careful shared route. Detailed legal classification, school-specific minimums, unusual circumstances and personalised medical, disability or travel cases remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.
Learning move: Mark the full-purification clause separately from the ordinary wudu actions.

O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janābah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women [i.e., had sexual intercourse] and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allāh is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.
O ye who believe! Draw not near unto prayer when ye are drunken, till ye know that which ye utter, nor when ye are polluted, save when journeying upon the road, till ye have bathed. And if ye be ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have touched women, and ye find not water, then go to high clean soil and rub your faces and your hands (therewith). Lo! Allah is Benign, Forgiving.
O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

Qur’an 4:43 again distinguishes major ritual impurity from ordinary minor causes and includes the waterless route when water is unavailable. The two purification passages should be studied together rather than using a translated fragment as a complete legal chart.
A beginner needs a usable route and an honest boundary at the same time. Learn the shared practice first, record any circumstance that changes it, and take medical, disability or school-specific questions to a qualified person who can examine the real case.
Read once for meaning and a second time for boundaries. On the second reading, test strong words such as always, never, invalid and required against the complete evidence shown.
Translation choices and detailed application remain subject to Arabic and qualified fiqh review. This resource teaches a careful shared route. Some triggers concern sexual activity, menstruation, postnatal bleeding or bodily discharge. A learner does not need to disclose private details to a class, website or assignment manager. Use neutral category names and a confidential route to a trusted adult and qualified teacher.
Calm completeness is the goal. Repeating an action without evidence, rushing past a required area, or forcing the body through pain can all move the learner away from careful worship. Practise once slowly, check once, and improve through observed teaching.
An adult guiding a child should praise careful attention and an honest “I need to ask” answer. The aim is worship with understanding, not performance for the teacher.
Exact triggers, end-points and exceptional bleeding require private qualified guidance. This resource teaches a careful shared route. Detailed legal classification, school-specific minimums, unusual circumstances and personalised medical, disability or travel cases remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.

A person may be physically clean yet require ghusl, or may have completed ritual purification and later notice physical contamination on clothing. Ghusl, wudu and removal of impurity answer different questions even when water is involved.
For a younger learner, use plain words, a visual sequence without animate imagery and one correction at a time. Adults should protect privacy, ask before helping physically and never use purification or prayer teaching to shame a child.
If terminology becomes difficult, return to the practical question: what is the learner preparing to do, which step is established here, and what fact about the person or situation could change the answer?
Impurity categories and prayer-validity consequences require qualified review. This resource teaches a careful shared route. Detailed legal classification, school-specific minimums, unusual circumstances and personalised medical, disability or travel cases remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.

Record what is actually known: a definite event, an uncertain thought or a recurring intrusive doubt. Do not turn a vague feeling into certainty and repeat ghusl until the skin is harmed or prayer is delayed. Persistent intrusive doubt deserves compassionate pastoral and clinical support.
Distinguish a revealed command, an authenticated Prophetic demonstration and a later legal classification. They work together, but they are not interchangeable. Where recognised schools differ, this resource labels the difference instead of presenting one view as the only Islam.
A resume point can preserve more than scroll position. Save the last completed step, the unresolved question and the next safe action so the learner can continue without unnecessary repetition.

Illness, wounds, prescribed dressings, lack of safe water or serious risk can change how purification is performed. Do not remove a medical device or expose the body to harm. Record the real limitation and seek coordinated clinical facts and qualified fiqh guidance.
Save the exact point that needs review. A useful learning record says what was completed, what remains uncertain, which source was checked and who should help next. That is more valuable than a confident tick beside a misunderstood step.
Explain the practice in plain language before using legal vocabulary. If the simple sentence overstates the evidence, a technical Arabic label will not repair it.

This lesson gives adults and older learners a dignified framework while directing personal trigger questions to private qualified review. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.” Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching. Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer. Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment. Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.” Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه (ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice. Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together. Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself. Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review. Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence. Complete one task independently before adding another.
