Reading support
A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Talha ibn Ubaydullah reported that a questioner was taught that five prayers are due during the day and night, beyond which prayer is voluntary.
Evidence use
This directly supports the article’s answer that the daily obligation is five prayers.

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you – some of you, among others. Thus does Allāh make clear to you the verses [i.e., His ordinances]; and Allāh is Knowing and Wise.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come to puberty, ask leave of you at three times (before they come into your presence): Before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat of noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). Thus Allah maketh clear the revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! let those whom your right hands possess, and the (children) among you who have not come of age ask your permission (before they come to your presence), on three occasions: before morning prayer; the while ye doff your clothes for the noonday heat; and after the late-night prayer: these are your three times of undress: outside those times it is not wrong for you or for them to move about attending to each other: Thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muḥammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him)], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face [i.e., yourself] toward al-Masjid al-Ḥarām.1 And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces [i.e., yourselves] toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture [i.e., the Jews and the Christians] well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allāh is not unaware of what they do.

Compare · M. Pickthall
We have seen the turning of thy face to heaven (for guidance, O Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him)). And now verily We shall make thee turn (in prayer) toward a qiblah which is dear to thee. So turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship, and ye (O Muslims), wheresoever ye may be, turn your faces (when ye pray) toward it. Lo! Those who have received the Scripture know that (this revelation) is the Truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
The salutation is an editorial addition; the stored translation is unchanged.

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janābah,1 then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women2 and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allāh does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that ye may give thanks.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.

Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."
Compare · M. Pickthall
Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Prayer begins before the opening takbir. The learner identifies the appointed prayer, verifies its local time, faces the qiblah, prepares body, clothing and place, and follows one reviewed covering route. This lesson turns readiness into a dependable checklist rather than guesswork.
The authenticated report identifies five required prayers in the day and night, while Qur’an 4:103 states that prayer is prescribed at appointed times. Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha should be learned as recurring obligations, not optional wellbeing breaks.
Read the complete evidence panel before reducing it to a step. The Arabic, named translation, source locator and explanation have different roles; preserving those roles lets a learner worship with confidence without turning a short guide into an unsupported ruling.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
Exact time boundaries and missed-prayer cases require qualified teaching.
Learning move: Open lesson 1, complete its practice move and save any referral question.

The core prayer sequence is not hurried choreography. The authenticated teaching begins with takbir, recitation, bowing with calmness, standing upright, prostrating with calmness and sitting with calmness. This lesson provides a slow practice loop and an adaptation boundary.
The teaching report directs the learner to say takbir on standing for prayer and then recite what is available from the Qur’an. The opening is deliberate: enter the prayer, settle the hands through the reviewed route and recite without racing.
A beginner needs a usable route and an honest boundary at the same time. Learn the shared practice first, record any circumstance that changes it, and take medical, disability or school-specific questions to a qualified person who can examine the real case.
Read once for meaning and a second time for boundaries. On the second reading, test strong words such as always, never, invalid and required against the complete evidence shown.
Opening formulas, hand placement and recitation minimums require full evidence and school-specific review.

Abdullah ibn Masud reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) taught the tashahhud, closing with testimony that none has the right to be worshipped except اللّٰه(ALLAH) and that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger.
Evidence use
The prayer-context wording joins servanthood and messengership. Servanthood prevents worship of the Messenger; messengership establishes that his authentic guidance is followed. This longer prayer wording is not silently substituted for the concise standalone testimony.

Calm completeness is the goal. Repeating an action without evidence, rushing past a required area, or forcing the body through pain can all move the learner away from careful worship. Practise once slowly, check once, and improve through observed teaching.
An adult guiding a child should praise careful attention and an honest “I need to ask” answer. The aim is worship with understanding, not performance for the teacher.

Mistakes do not make a learner worthless, and uncertainty does not authorise invention. The Prophetic teaching corrected a rushed prayer through patient instruction and provides a response to forgotten units. This lesson builds a correction record and a compassionate referral route.
A learner should ask a capable, trustworthy teacher who can identify the school route, evidence and real facts. Complex mistakes involving purity, time, congregation, disability or repeated doubt should not be decided by a quiz score or anonymous answer.
For a younger learner, use plain words, a visual sequence without animate imagery and one correction at a time. Adults should protect privacy, ask before helping physically and never use purification or prayer teaching to shame a child.
If terminology becomes difficult, return to the practical question: what is the learner preparing to do, which step is established here, and what fact about the person or situation could change the answer?
The platform records a question; it does not appoint an unknown person as a scholar.

Learn one coherent observed prayer route from the Qur’an and authenticated Sunnah. Keep exact recitations, school classifications and personal adaptations attached to named evidence and capable teaching rather than mixing isolated clips.
The course begins with the Qur’anic command, uses authenticated Prophetic teaching for practice and labels later legal classifications. This gives a learner a usable route without pretending that a short page decides every recognised difference or personal case.
Distinguish a revealed command, an authenticated Prophetic demonstration and a later legal classification. They work together, but they are not interchangeable. Where recognised schools differ, this resource labels the difference instead of presenting one view as the only Islam.
A resume point can preserve more than scroll position. Save the last completed step, the unresolved question and the next safe action so the learner can continue without unnecessary repetition.
This resource teaches a careful shared route. Detailed legal classification, school-specific minimums, unusual circumstances and personalised medical, disability or travel cases remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International

Careful reading aid
A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.
Transliteration can help you begin, but it cannot reproduce every Arabic sound or replace listening, tajwid study, or correction from a capable teacher.

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.
Compare · M. Pickthall
(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart – of each of these it will be asked.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

Save the prayer, unit, movement, recitation line and correction point reached. Resume from the exact section, rehearse with a qualified observer and record whether the need is memory practice, physical adaptation or fiqh review.
Record what has been learned, practised and checked. Do not turn uncertainty into repeated purification, abandoned prayer or authority over another learner. The next action should be specific and proportionate.
Save the exact point that needs review. A useful learning record says what was completed, what remains uncertain, which source was checked and who should help next. That is more valuable than a confident tick beside a misunderstood step.
Explain the practice in plain language before using legal vocabulary. If the simple sentence overstates the evidence, a technical Arabic label will not repair it.
This resource teaches a careful shared route. Detailed legal classification, school-specific minimums, unusual circumstances and personalised medical, disability or travel cases remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.
Learning move: Save the completed steps, one unresolved question and the support route required next.

Qur’an evidence
Qur'an-primary; controlled Quran Foundation QPC Hafs panels. Named translations are human renderings and later fiqh remains separately attributed. Arabic, word alignment, transliteration and named translations are supplied through the separately labelled Quran Foundation panels.
Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated record: bukhari:46, bukhari:547, bukhari:631, bukhari:757, bukhari:756, muslim:482, bukhari:831, muslim:406a, muslim:588a, bukhari:835, bukhari:844, bukhari:1231. Report wording, legal classification and personal application remain distinct. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).
Release control
This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master Daily Prayer: Conditions, Pillars and Practice
This course guides a beginner through the five daily prayers from readiness and appointed times to standing, recitation, bowing, prostration, tashahhud, salam and correction. It gives Qur’anic commands their full place and uses authenticated teaching without disguising school differences or disability adaptations. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read Daily Prayer: Conditions, Pillars and Practice yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Times, Direction, Covering and Readiness mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 4:103)?”
“What does Standing, Recitation, Bowing and Prostration mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 17:78)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Study every controlled evidence panel in context.
Complete the practice move and resume from the saved position.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
