A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
'Umar ibn al-Khattab reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) taught that actions are according to intentions and each person has what they intended.
Evidence use
This authenticated report establishes that intention matters to the moral and worship value of an action, while also providing a controlled example in which learners can distinguish the chain, reported wording and collection reference.

Arabic scope
Only the two opening Prophetic clauses are retained. The migration example, full chain, collection heading and complete record remain available on the linked source page.
Evidence boundary
The panel retains only the opening principle and not the migration example. The report does not make an unlawful act lawful, remove another person’s rights, replace the conditions of an obligation or guarantee a reward for every routine.
Controlled check
Collection, number, chapter context, Arabic report text, displayed grading and source URL checked 30 August 2026. Qualified hadith and Arabic review remain release gates.

Editorial paraphrase
Abu Huraira reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) named wealth, family standing, beauty and religion as factors for which a woman may be married, then directed priority towards faith.
Evidence use
The wording teaches that religious commitment should not be displaced by status or attraction.

Each person records privately that the conversation is voluntary and may be paused without punishment.
Read the complete evidence panel before reducing it to a step. The Arabic, named translation, source locator and explanation have different roles; preserving those roles lets a learner worship with confidence without turning a short guide into an unsupported ruling.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
Silence, dependency, threats and family pressure are not reliable consent. This is general education, not a nikah, divorce, custody, financial, immigration or civil-law ruling. Consent must be free and informed; silence under pressure, fear, deception, incapacity or dependency is not consent. Abuse, immediate danger, child welfare, recognised fiqh differences and governing law require qualified family-law, safeguarding and legal support before indexing.

And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Wed not idolatresses till they believe; for lo! a believing bondwoman is better than an idolatress though she please you; and give not your daughters in marriage to idolaters till they believe, for lo! a believing slave is better than an idolater though he please you. These invite unto the Fire, and Allah inviteth unto the Garden, and unto forgiveness by His grace, and expoundeth His revelations to mankind that haply they may remember.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allāh, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allāh is ever, over you, an Observer.
Compare · M. Pickthall

And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality [i.e., adultery]. And live with them in kindness. It is not lawful for you forcibly to inherit the women (of your deceased kinsmen), nor (that) ye should put constraint upon them that ye may take away a part of that which ye have given them, unless they be guilty of flagrant lewdness. But consort with them in kindness, for if ye hate them it may happen that ye hate a thing wherein Allah hath placed much good.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. Calm completeness is the goal. Repeating an action without evidence, rushing past a required distinction, or ignoring real harm can all move the learner away from careful worship. Work through the evidence once slowly, check once, and improve through reviewed teaching.
An adult guiding a child should praise careful attention and an honest “I need to ask” answer. The aim is worship with understanding, not performance for the teacher.

For a younger learner, use plain words, a visual sequence without animate imagery and one correction at a time. Adults should protect privacy, explain unfamiliar terms and never use religious teaching to shame a child.
If terminology becomes difficult, return to the practical question: what is the learner preparing to do, which step is established here, and what fact about the person or situation could change the answer?

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O ye who believe! If an evil-liver bring you tidings, verify it, lest ye smite some folk in ignorance and afterward repent of what ye did.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

Give each person an independent contact for safeguarding, legal advice and emergency protection.
Distinguish a revealed command, an authenticated Prophetic demonstration and a later legal classification. They work together, but they are not interchangeable. Where recognised schools differ, this resource labels the difference instead of presenting one view as the only Islam.
A resume point can preserve more than scroll position. Save the last completed step, the unresolved question and the next safe action so the learner can continue without unnecessary repetition.
Do not make a pressured person raise concerns in front of the other party.

Careful reading aid
A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.
Transliteration can help you begin, but it cannot reproduce every Arabic sound or replace listening, tajwid study, or correction from a capable teacher.
Interlinear word study
Read from right to left. Each column keeps one Arabic word, its reading aid and its contextual gloss together. Select a word to hear it.

Primary · Saheeh International
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.
Compare · M. Pickthall
(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart – of each of these it will be asked.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

Abu Huraira reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited arranging the named women in marriage without consultation or permission and answered a question about how permission could be expressed in the setting addressed.
Evidence use
The report establishes that the woman’s permission is not optional.

Displayed grading
Sahih — Sahih al-Bukhari collection. This records the named grading shown by the source; Tawheed Club does not silently present it as an unqualified editorial verdict.
Arabic scope
The complete direct teaching exchange is retained; the chain is omitted.
Evidence boundary
Silence under pressure, fear, deception, incapacity or dependency must never be treated as consent. Contemporary safeguarding and civil law require free, informed and legally valid agreement.
Controlled check
Collection, number, chapter context, Arabic report text, displayed grading and source URL checked 1 September 2026. Qualified hadith and Arabic review remain release gates.
List the scholar, civil registrar, solicitor or safeguarding professional needed and the unresolved question for each.
Save the exact point that needs review. A useful learning record says what was completed, what remains uncertain, which source was checked and who should help next. That is more valuable than a confident tick beside a misunderstood step.
Explain the practice in plain language before using legal vocabulary. If the simple sentence overstates the evidence, a technical Arabic label will not repair it.

Qur’an evidence
Qur'an-primary; controlled Quran Foundation QPC Hafs panels. Named translations are human renderings and later explanation remains separately attributed. Arabic, word alignment, transliteration and named translations are supplied through the separately labelled Quran Foundation panels.
Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated record: bukhari:1, bukhari:5090, bukhari:5066, tirmidhi:3895, bukhari:5136. Report wording, grading and personal application remain distinct. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).
Release control
This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master Marriage Readiness and Safeguarding Conversation Record
A private, assignable preparation record that keeps consent, evidence, expectations, mahr, legal registration and safety questions visible without collecting unnecessary intimate data. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read Marriage Readiness and Safeguarding Conversation Record yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Confirm free participation mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 30:21)?”
“What does Verify identity and essential facts mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 2:221)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Complete each evidence-labelled field without recording unsafe personal details.
Save or assign the resource and return after qualified review where family law, civil law or safeguarding applies.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
