Mortgages, Islamic Banking, Crypto and Contemporary Products · lesson 2
A home-finance question can involve shelter, family safety, title, debt, rent, tax, regulation and long-term risk at once. Conventional secured loans and structures described as murabaha, ijara or diminishing musharakah may create different relationships, yet names alone do not reveal how a current agreement operates. This lesson teaches comparison without approving a provider or instructing anyone to leave an existing arrangement.

Ayah 17:36
A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.
Transliteration can help you begin, but it cannot reproduce every Arabic sound or replace listening, tajwid study, or correction from a capable teacher.Read from right to left. Each column keeps one Arabic word, its reading aid and its contextual gloss together. Select a word to hear it.
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.
(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart – of each of these it will be asked.
And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

Qur’an 17:36 forbids asserting what is not known, so a genuine housing need does not by itself classify a particular contract. Record household need, vulnerability, lawful alternatives, timing and harm, then analyse the current agreement separately. Keep Qur’anic wording, authenticated Sunnah, later juristic analysis, current regulatory information and personal advice visibly separate.
Read the complete evidence panel before reducing it to a step. The Arabic, named translation, source locator and explanation have different roles; preserving those roles lets a learner worship with confidence without turning a short guide into an unsupported ruling.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
Necessity and need are qualified legal concepts; do not self-issue an exception or shame another household. This is general education, not a personal fatwa, halal certification, mortgage or banking recommendation, investment or cryptoasset advice, debt instruction, inheritance calculation, tax opinion, contract review or legal answer. Never cancel cover, stop payment, transfer title, conceal facts, share credentials, ignore compulsory law or breach an agreement from this page. A named product, estate, transaction or hardship claim requires complete current documents and appropriately qualified commercial-fiqh, regulated-finance, tax, accounting, safeguarding and governing-law review before indexing.
Learning move: Explain “Home need and product classification are separate questions” in plain language, name its evidence level, record one safe action and identify what still needs qualified review.

Qur’an 2:279 keeps principal, increase and reciprocal justice visible when examining debt. Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allāh has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allāh. But whoever returns [to dealing in interest or usury] – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.
Those who swallow usury cannot rise up save as he ariseth whom the devil hath prostrated by (his) touch. That is because they say: Trade is just like usury; whereas Allah permitteth trading and forbiddeth usury. He unto whom an admonition from his Lord cometh, and (he) refraineth (in obedience thereto), he shall keep (the profits of) that which is past, and his affair (henceforth) is with Allah. As for him who returneth (to usury) – Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein.
Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).

Qur’an 2:275 distinguishes trade from riba, so a murabaha description must be tested for acquisition, ownership, disclosure and a genuine sale. Trace who buys the property, when ownership and risk pass, how the resale price is fixed and what promises or security support it. Keep Qur’anic wording, authenticated Sunnah, later juristic analysis, current regulatory information and personal advice visibly separate.
Calm completeness is the goal. Repeating an action without evidence, rushing past a required distinction, or ignoring real harm can all move the learner away from careful worship. Work through the evidence once slowly, check once, and improve through reviewed teaching.
An adult guiding a child should praise careful attention and an honest “I need to ask” answer. The aim is worship with understanding, not performance for the teacher.

Qur’an 5:1 commands fulfilment of agreements, so lease duties, ownership risks, maintenance, insurance and purchase promises must remain visible. Separate genuine rent and owner responsibility from service charges, customer undertakings and transfer-of-title terms. Keep Qur’anic wording, authenticated Sunnah, later juristic analysis, current regulatory information and personal advice visibly separate.
For a younger learner, use plain words, a visual sequence without animate imagery and one correction at a time. Adults should protect privacy, explain unfamiliar terms and never use religious teaching to shame a child.
If terminology becomes difficult, return to the practical question: what is the learner preparing to do, which step is established here, and what fact about the person or situation could change the answer?

The agreement command in Qur’an 5:1 requires connected rights and consequences to be examined before changing a home-finance arrangement. Obtain qualified fiqh, mortgage, tax and legal advice on refinancing, sale, early exit, title, protection, dependants and deadlines before acting. Keep Qur’anic wording, authenticated Sunnah, later juristic analysis, current regulatory information and personal advice visibly separate.
Save the exact point that needs review. A useful learning record says what was completed, what remains uncertain, which source was checked and who should help next. That is more valuable than a confident tick beside a misunderstood step.

Adult companion · lesson · TC-LESSON-230 A home-finance question can involve shelter, family safety, title, debt, rent, tax, regulation and long-term risk at once. Conventional secured loans and structures described as murabaha, ijara or diminishing musharakah may create different relationships, yet names alone do not reveal how a current agreement operates. This lesson teaches comparison without approving a provider or instructing anyone to leave an existing arrangement. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.” Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching. Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer. Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment. Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.” Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه (ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice. Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together. Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself. Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review. Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence. Complete one task independently before adding another.
