Divine Names study
A careful first meaning
Al-Mujib is commonly rendered The Responsive or The Answerer. The Qur’anic evidence teaches that اللّٰه (ALLAH) is near and responsive and that Nuh’s call was answered. It does not make du‘a a technique for controlling the Creator.
The precision spelling al-Mujīb marks a long vowel. Learners should hear the Arabic from a qualified teacher rather than relying only on English letters. “Responsive” is a translation doorway, not a complete replacement for the Arabic or its context.
A response is not identical to receiving the exact requested object at the requested time. This page will not promise a deadline, fixed-number ritual or guaranteed worldly outcome.
What the controlled occurrence ledger establishes
The selected search found two raw candidates. Both are valid and both refer to اللّٰه (ALLAH). There are zero non-Divine candidates, zero unresolved records and zero extraction false positives.
Qur’an 11:61 contains an indefinite singular nominative form. Qur’an 37:75 contains an article-bearing nominative plural form in a Divine first-person-plural construction. Neither is the exact singular definite inventory surface. The accurate statement is two Divine selected-lemma uses, but zero exact singular definite surfaces.
The basmalah adds nothing. The wider J-W-B family includes forms for answering or responding with both Divine and created agents, plus other derivational senses. No reconciled broader-root total is currently available, so none is published.

Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
And to Thamūd [We sent] their brother Ṣāliḥ. He said, "O my people, worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive."
And unto (the tribe of) Thamud (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: O my people! Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. He brought you forth from the earth and hath made you husband it. So ask forgiveness of Him and turn unto Him repentant. Lo! my Lord is Nigh, Responsive.
To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer."

Qur’an 11:61 records Salih addressing his people. He calls them to worship اللّٰه (ALLAH) alone, reminds them of their creation and settlement on earth, and calls them to seek forgiveness and repent. The verse then describes the Lord as near and responsive.
The phrase relationship is meaningful, but the controlled adjacency ledger does not label “Near” here as an exact paired catalogue title. We should teach the wording in context without upgrading it into a confirmed indexed Name pair.
Response is joined to repentance and worship, not consumer entitlement. The verse invites return to the Creator. It does not establish that every preference will appear immediately or that delay means rejection.

Qur’an 37:75 recalls that Nuh called upon اللّٰه (ALLAH) and then uses the definite plural surface commonly rendered in a phrase such as “how excellent are We as responders”. The referent is Divine. The plural grammar belongs to a first-person Divine construction and does not teach numerical plurality in the Creator.
This verse sits within a prophetic history, not a blank cheque detached from context. Nuh’s long mission, rejection and dependence should not be compressed into “say the Name and get a result”. A learner reads the surrounding passage and respects the difference between a revealed event and a personal guarantee.
The surface distinction matters. A definite plural Divine form is valid evidence for the selected lemma, but it is not the singular definite catalogue surface. Accurate grammar increases trust.
Response, wisdom and lawful means
Ask اللّٰه (ALLAH) sincerely and continue lawful action. A person seeking health care can make du‘a and consult qualified clinicians. Someone in danger can make du‘a and contact emergency or safeguarding services. Spiritual reliance and responsible means are not enemies.
We should not invent the hidden explanation for an answer, delay or changed outcome. A pastoral reflection may say that the believer trusts Divine knowledge and wisdom; it must not claim to know the unseen reason behind a particular tragedy.
Nor should a person blame a sufferer: “You were not sincere enough, because you did not receive what you asked.” The two selected verses do not authorise that judgement.
Exact title and wider root
The two Mujib candidates are different surfaces: one indefinite singular and one definite plural. Title identity, number, definiteness and case should be recorded separately. This prevents the false claim that the Qur’an displays the exact catalogue form twice.
Related answer verbs are not automatically Al-Mujib occurrences. Some may have human agents; others may be different derivations. Until the project produces a deterministic inclusion rule and agent map, no J-W-B root total belongs on this page.
Al-Mujib should not be collapsed into As-Sami. Hearing and responding are related in prayer, but they are distinct Arabic forms with separate evidence. A person may hear without being able to respond; created analogies remain limited.
The Creator and created responders
A parent, friend or emergency worker may answer a call. They can miss the message, misunderstand, lack ability or arrive late. اللّٰه (ALLAH) does not depend on signal, distance, language or created capacity.
This contrast does not make human help unnecessary. People are means created by اللّٰه (ALLAH), and gratitude to them is good. Do not refuse urgent assistance because “only اللّٰه (ALLAH) answers”. Use the means available while keeping worship for Him alone.
Nature images or sound waves may illustrate calling, but they do not depict اللّٰه (ALLAH) or explain how He responds. The Creator is not contained by an illustration.
Living with this Name
Make du‘a honestly. Ask for guidance and forgiveness as well as material needs. Qur’an 11:61 places response beside repentance, giving the learner a richer model than a wish list.
Listen when people call for help within your ability and competence. Divine response is not imitated in essence, but the lesson can encourage human attentiveness and mercy. Refer needs you cannot safely meet.
Do not market guaranteed du‘a packages, secret counts or deadlines. This page authenticates no formula saying that a particular request must be granted after a chosen number of repetitions.
Keep hope without pretending certainty about form or timing. If grief or unanswered longing becomes overwhelming, seek compassionate spiritual and professional support.
A worked study method
Read 11:61 and 37:75 as two complete settings rather than extracting only the target word. On the first card write: Salih, worship, creation, seeking forgiveness, repentance, nearness and response. On the second write: Nuh called and the Divine speaker answered. These anchors prevent a motivational slogan from replacing the passages.
Add a grammar line to each card. The first target is singular, indefinite and nominative. The second is plural, definite and nominative. Both are Divine. Ask the learner to explain how two valid Divine candidates can still yield zero exact singular definite surfaces. This is the page’s central precision test.
Next, examine the phrase “near and responsive” at 11:61. It is meaningful and worth teaching, yet the project’s exact catalogue adjacency system does not record it as a confirmed indexed Name pair. Learners should distinguish a phrase relationship from a formal pair statistic.
Test three common claims. “The Name occurs twice in the selected search” is supported. “The exact catalogue form occurs twice” is false. “Repeat it a fixed number of times and your request will arrive by Friday” is invented. Ask learners to state what evidence each claim would need.
For application, present a fictional learner worried about an examination. A balanced plan includes du‘a, repentance where relevant, a study timetable, sleep, asking a teacher for help and acceptance that no one can guarantee the result. This joins worship to lawful means without making success a spiritual score.
Use sensitive examples carefully. Do not ask someone grieving infertility, illness or bereavement to explain why a prayer appears unanswered. Offer presence, practical support and hope without diagnosing sincerity or the unseen. The lesson’s restraint is part of its truthfulness.
Assessment should require the 2/2 classification, both surface descriptions, one anti-guarantee rule and one safe example of combining du‘a with action. Mere repetition of “The Answerer” is not enough.
For source literacy, compare the named translations in each controlled panel. Record how they render the target and never blend their wording into an unattributed sentence. If tafsir adds historical or explanatory detail, label it as tafsir and check that the public conclusion does not exceed the cited explanation.
For pastoral literacy, practise three responses to someone who says, “I prayed and I am hurting.” A safe response listens, acknowledges pain and offers practical support. An unsafe response diagnoses weak faith or promises a date by which the request will be fulfilled. A careful response may affirm hope in Al-Mujib while admitting that we do not know the unseen form or timing.
For theological literacy, revisit the plural surface at 37:75. Grammar must be explained without suggesting multiple creators. The Qur’anic first-person-plural construction has one Divine referent in this check. Learners should be able to say this plainly without speculative claims about Arabic rhetoric beyond the reviewed evidence.
Close with a one-minute teaching summary containing both locators, both grammatical surfaces, the repentance context, the prophetic call and the no-transaction boundary. Then ask the learner to name one lawful action that may accompany du‘a.
An editor should search the draft for words such as “always”, “immediately”, “guaranteed” and “within”. Each may signal an unsupported promise when attached to a requested outcome. Replace it with evidence-led language: the two verses affirm Divine response, while the servant asks, repents, acts lawfully and leaves the unseen form and timing to اللّٰه (ALLAH).
Pronunciation, translation and tafsir boundaries
Learn al-Mujīb through listening, repetition and gentle correction. Transliteration is not Arabic. Each study panel separates controlled QPC Hafs Arabic from named translations and named tafsir. The English is human work.
When printing an ayah, retain the locator and source. Avoid wasting paper and treat Qur’anic text respectfully.

Al-Mujib teaches that اللّٰه (ALLAH) is responsive. We ask Him without treating prayer as a machine.
Ages 5–7 with an adult
Practise asking for help and thanking a helper. Explain that every created helper is limited.
Ages 8–11
Compare the settings of 11:61 and 37:75: repentance with Salih’s people, and Nuh’s call.
Ages 12–15
Explain the difference between an indefinite singular and a definite plural surface.
Ages 16+ and adults
Explain why two Divine candidates still produce zero exact singular definite surfaces and why no broad root total is published.
Adult and teacher guide
Begin with both panels and ask learners what happens before the Mujib form. Let context lead: repentance and nearness at 11:61; Nuh’s call at 37:75.
Use two locator cards. On the back record referent, number, definiteness and case. Retrieve after one day and one week. The learner should state 2/2 Divine while preserving the surface distinction.
With children, avoid promising that a sick relative will recover or a family problem will end if they pray correctly. Such promises can injure trust. Teach du‘a, lawful effort and compassionate presence.
Never request disclosure of private prayers or trauma for participation. If a child reports danger, follow safeguarding procedure. If a learner shows severe anxiety around prayer, signpost qualified support.
