The Last Day · evidence and reflection map
Use this map to connect each afterlife claim to an exact Qur’an or authenticated Sunnah locator, identify its evidence layer, record its practical meaning and preserve an honest boundary. The completed map is a learning tool, not a picture of the unseen.
Create six columns before adding any claim
Set up columns titled “topic”, “exact locator”, “evidence layer”, “what it states”, “what remains unanswered” and “responsible response”. Evidence layer must be Qur’an, authenticated Sunnah, attributed explanation or unsupported/held. Never paste manually typed Qur’anic Arabic into the worksheet; return to the controlled panel. A named translation stays a translation, not the Arabic Qur’an.
Learning move: Add the headings and test them with Qur’an 3:185. Record death, full recompense and final success without adding a personal verdict.
Map death and barzakh with deliberate blank fields

Careful reading aid
A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.
Transliteration can help you begin, but it cannot reproduce every Arabic sound or replace listening, tajwid study, or correction from a capable teacher.
Interlinear word study
Read from right to left. Each column keeps one Arabic word, its reading aid and its contextual gloss together. Select a word to hear it.

A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Anas ibn Malik reported that after burial the deceased hears the departing footsteps and is approached by two angels for questioning.
Evidence use
This supplies bounded authenticated evidence for questioning after burial without turning the article into an invented map of the unseen.

Collection and locator
Sahih al-Bukhari 1374; Book 23, Hadith 126

What has been said about the punishment in the grave
Narrator
Anas ibn Malik
Displayed grading
Sahih — Sahih al-Bukhari collection. This records the named grading shown by the source; Tawheed Club does not silently present it as an unqualified editorial verdict.
Arabic scope
Only the opening establishing questioning after burial is retained. The full record contains severe unseen imagery that must not be enlarged for children or distressed readers.
Evidence boundary
The retained panel does not reproduce severe imagery. Qatada’s later explanatory clause is not Prophetic matn. Not Qur’an or hadith qudsi.
Controlled check
Collection, number, chapter context, Arabic report text, displayed grading and source URL checked 30 August 2026. Qualified hadith and Arabic review remain release gates.
Create rows for death’s arrival, no earthly return, barzakh until resurrection and authenticated questioning after burial. In the unanswered column keep duration, experiential physics, appearance and the state of named people blank. Do not fill those fields from dreams or dramatic talks.
Learning move: Add one “unsupported” row for the claim that a dream proves someone’s grave condition, then write why the evidence layer fails.

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand.
Compare · M. Pickthall
No intercession availeth with Him save for him whom He permitteth. Yet, when fear is banished from their hearts, they say: What was it that your Lord said? They say: The Truth. And He is the Sublime, the Great.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
"No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'."

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
Compare · M. Pickthall
Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
The divine report states that what is prepared for righteous servants has not been seen by an eye, heard by an ear or fully occurred to a human heart, and connects this with Qur'an 32:17.

Evidence boundary
The report affirms unseen reality while limiting human imagination; it does not authorise an image to be labelled an accurate picture of Jannah.

Record rescue from the Fire and admission to Jannah as the Qur’anic definition of success. Record the authenticated limit on human imagination. Any nature image remains a symbolic design aid; it cannot be called Jannah. Exclude graphic punishment imagery, destination predictions and private confessions.
Learning move: Add a visual-use note and a grief-safety note. Both must protect truth without making the lesson emotionally cold.

Arabic scope
The complete concise report is retained: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who supplicates. It does not authorize invented rites or a universal promise about every memorial act.
Evidence boundary
It does not authorize invented memorial rites or guarantee a particular outcome from every act. Not Qur’an or hadith qudsi.

Signed-in users may assign this resource to themselves or a child. Completion is based on reaching the end, while quality depends on accurate locators and boundaries. Ages 5–7 can use four cards: death, return, fair judgement and wonderful reward. Ages 8–11 can add verse keys. Teenagers and adults should complete every source-layer and unanswered field.
Finish with one continuing-benefit plan from Sahih Muslim 1631 and one present responsibility. Adults should not inspect private entries, force bereavement disclosure or use completion as spiritual certification.
Learning move: Run the completion check, then save one next action and one question for qualified review.

Qur’an evidence
Qur'an-primary; controlled Quran Foundation QPC Hafs panels. Named translations are visibly labelled and are not revelation. Named tafsir remains attributed commentary. Arabic, word alignment, transliteration and named translations are supplied through the separately labelled Quran Foundation panels.
Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated record: bukhari:1374, muslim:2824a, muslim:1631. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).
Release control
This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master The Last Day Evidence and Reflection Map
The Last Day · evidence and reflection map Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read The Last Day Evidence and Reflection Map yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Create six columns before adding any claim mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 23:99)?”
“What does Map death and barzakh with deliberate blank fields mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 23:100)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Complete each evidence-labelled field.
Save or assign the resource, then revisit it after the related lessons.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
