Divorced women remain in waiting [i.e., do not remarry] for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allāh has created in their wombs if they believe in Allāh and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to them [i.e., the wives] is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men [i.e., husbands] have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.

And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allāh in jest. And remember the favor of Allāh upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and wisdom [i.e., the Prophet's sunnah] by which He instructs you. And fear Allāh and know that Allāh is Knowing of all things.

The Qur’an provides routes for reconciliation, but reconciliation means genuine reform and cannot be forced where danger or domination remains. A safe process distinguishes ordinary conflict from abuse, gives each person independent advice and preserves the option of dignified separation.
Qur’an 4:35 provides arbiters from each family when serious rupture is feared and connects success with a genuine desire for reconciliation. Divorce is twice. Then [after that], either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allāh. But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allāh, then there is no blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself. These are the limits of Allāh, so do not transgress them. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allāh – it is those who are the wrongdoers [i.e., the unjust].

Divorce must be pronounced twice and then (a woman) must be retained in honour or released in kindness. And it is not lawful for you that ye take from women aught of that which ye have given them; except (in the case) when both fear that they may not be able to keep within the limits (imposed by) Allah. And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if he [i.e., the latter husband] divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon them [i.e., the woman and her former husband] for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allāh. These are the limits of Allāh, which He makes clear to a people who know [i.e.,understand].

And if he hath divorced her (the third time), then she is not lawful unto him thereafter until she hath wedded another husband. Then if he (the other husband) divorce her it is no sin for both of them that they come together again if they consider that they are able to observe the limits of Allah. These are the limits of Allah. He manifesteth them for people who have knowledge.

So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allāh in jest. And remember the favor of Allāh upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and wisdom [i.e., the Prophet's sunnah] by which He instructs you. And fear Allāh and know that Allāh is Knowing of all things.

When ye have divorced women, and they have reached their term, then retain them in kindness or release them in kindness. Retain them not to their hurt so that ye transgress (the limits). He who doeth that hath wronged his soul. Make not the revelations of Allah a laughing-stock (by your behaviour), but remember Allah's grace upon you and that which He hath revealed unto you of the Scripture and of wisdom, whereby He doth exhort you. Observe your duty to Allah and know that Allah is Aware of all things.

That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allāh knows and you know not.

O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allāh, your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allāh. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allāh has certainly wronged himself. You know not; perhaps Allāh will bring about after that a [different] matter.

The Qur’an gives limits for divorce, but the classification of a real statement depends on exact wording, timing, prior events, capacity, intention questions recognised by jurists, the school applied and governing law. This page teaches source boundaries and never declares a marriage ended.
Qur’an 2:230 describes a legal consequence after a further divorce in the sequence. Do not attempt to solve the consequence through arranged sham conduct or an online calculator. Read the complete evidence panel before turning the principle into advice for a real family. Divorced women remain in waiting [i.e., do not remarry] for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allāh has created in their wombs if they believe in Allāh and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to them [i.e., the wives] is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men [i.e., husbands] have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.

O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allāh, your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allāh. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allāh has certainly wronged himself. You know not; perhaps Allāh will bring about after that a [different] matter.

And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for him [i.e., the father] another woman.

Mothers may nurse [i.e., breastfeed] their children two complete years for whoever wishes to complete the nursing [period]. Upon the father is their [i.e., the mothers'] provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child. And upon the [father's] heir is [a duty] like that [of the father]. And if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. And if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable. And fear Allāh and know that Allāh is Seeing of what you do.

Mothers shall suckle their children for two whole years; (that is) for those who wish to complete the suckling. The duty of feeding and clothing nursing mothers in a seemly manner is upon the father of the child. No-one should be charged beyond his capacity. A mother should not be made to suffer because of her child, nor should he to whom the child is born (be made to suffer) because of his child. And on the (father's) heir is incumbent the like of that (which was incumbent on the father). If they desire to wean the child by mutual consent and (after) consultation, it is no sin for them; and if ye wish to give your children out to nurse, it is no sin for you, provide that ye pay what is due from you in kindness. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is Seer of what ye do.

No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be Treated unfairly on account of her child. Nor father on account of his child, an heir shall be chargeable in the same way. If they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation, there is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring, there is no blame on you, provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do.

And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for him [i.e., the father] another woman.

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allāh, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allāh is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allāh is ever, of what you do, Aware.

Children are rights-bearing people, not leverage between adults. The Qur’an connects nursing decisions with mutual consultation, requires concern for vulnerable offspring and commands justice. Safe arrangements also depend on safeguarding assessment and binding civil law.
Qur’an 17:31 forbids killing children from fear of poverty and attributes provision to اللّٰه(ALLAH). Protect food, housing, healthcare and safety without making the child carry adult financial fear. Separation has revealed limits, financial consequences and effects on children. It is not managed safely through slogans or a single online answer. This course teaches the controlling Qur’anic passages, protects dignity and directs every personal case to qualified family-law, safeguarding and civil-law review. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read Separation, Waiting Periods and Child Welfare yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.

04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.

Study every controlled evidence panel in context.
Complete the practice move and resume from the saved position.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery

Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.

Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
