Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
Compare · M. Pickthall
Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

Read the panels before attempting the questions. Know which statement is universal, which request is refused and what remains until resurrection. The quiz will reward answers that preserve both certainty and silence. It will reject dream verdicts, exact time claims and any suggestion that death itself is the full final judgement.
Use a retrieval card with four fields: death, request to return, refusal and barrier. Speak one evidence sentence for each field. If your sentence adds the daily experience of a deceased person, a clock or a destination, remove it. The skill being assessed is not how much afterlife detail you can recall; it is whether each claim remains attached to the source that actually establishes it.
A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Anas ibn Malik reported that after burial the deceased hears the departing footsteps and is approached by two angels for questioning.
Evidence use
This supplies bounded authenticated evidence for questioning after burial without turning the article into an invented map of the unseen.

Arabic scope
Only the opening establishing questioning after burial is retained. The full record contains severe unseen imagery that must not be enlarged for children or distressed readers.
Evidence boundary
The retained panel does not reproduce severe imagery. Qatada’s later explanatory clause is not Prophetic matn. Not Qur’an or hadith qudsi.

Sahih — Sahih Muslim collection. This records the named grading shown by the source; Tawheed Club does not silently present it as an unqualified editorial verdict.
Arabic scope
The complete concise report is retained: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who supplicates. It does not authorize invented rites or a universal promise about every memorial act.
Evidence boundary
It does not authorize invented memorial rites or guarantee a particular outcome from every act. Not Qur’an or hadith qudsi.
Controlled check
Collection, number, chapter context, Arabic report text, displayed grading and source URL checked 30 August 2026. Qualified hadith and Arabic review remain release gates.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1374 establishes questioning after burial through a deliberately bounded excerpt. Sahih Muslim 1631 names three forms of continuing benefit. Keep hadith distinct from Qur’an, do not enlarge severe imagery and do not treat the three as permission for invented rites.
Check the evidence labels as carefully as the meanings. Both reports are authenticated Sunnah, not Qur’an. The Bukhari panel deliberately limits severe content, while the Muslim report gives a practical legacy route. A correct answer will not merge them into a single narration, hide the collection locator or present a later explanation as words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).

Meaning in translation

Primary · Saheeh International
O people, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed – that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O mankind! if ye are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then lo! We have created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh shapely and shapeless, that We may make (it) clear for you. And We cause what We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed time, and afterward We bring you forth as infants, then (give you growth) that ye attain your full strength. And among you there is he who dieth (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the most abject time of life, so that, after knowledge, he knoweth naught. And thou (Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him)) seest the earth barren, but when We send down water thereon, it doth thrill and swell and put forth every lovely kind (of growth).
The salutation is an editorial addition; the stored translation is unchanged.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allāh wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.
Compare · M. Pickthall
And the trumpet is blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are in the earth swoon away, save him whom Allah willeth. Then it is blown a second time, and behold them standing waiting!
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
The Trumpet will (just) be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah (to exempt). Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on!

Careful reading aid
A human-reviewed full transliteration is being prepared. Listen to the complete ayah and use the Arabic with a capable teacher rather than relying on an unreviewed technical conversion.
Transliteration can help you begin, but it cannot reproduce every Arabic sound or replace listening, tajwid study, or correction from a capable teacher.
Interlinear word study

Questions test who resurrects, what the passages say about the Trumpet, rising and being shown deeds, and which details remain for specialist review. A dramatic option is not better evidence. Choose the sentence that can be traced to the displayed text.
Build a four-card route but label it “study route, not exhaustive chronology”. Qur’an 22:7 supplies certainty, 39:68 supplies a bounded Trumpet sequence, 36:51 supplies rising towards the Lord and 99:6 supplies emergence to be shown deeds. If an answer claims an exact blast count across every passage, a physical mechanism or the identity of an exception, it has crossed this quiz’s evidence boundary.
Use the three evidence labels
Classify claims as explicit text, cautious teaching connection or unanswered here. “The Hour is coming” is explicit. “Use life responsibly” is a supported teaching response. A complete physical mechanism for resurrection is unanswered. Leaving a blank is a mark of knowledge when evidence does not fill it.
Apply the labels before looking at the answer positions. Ask whether the full sentence—not merely one familiar word—is established. A distractor may begin accurately and then add an unsupported ending. Choosing the shorter, source-bounded answer is not avoiding depth; it demonstrates that you can distinguish revelation from a plausible invention.
Mark, review and reattempt deliberately
Answer all 12 questions, mark the attempt and read the feedback for the exact option selected. Use its return locator before reattempting. Signed-in progress may record score, time and attempts, but none of these fields measures faith, grief, sincerity or final standing.
When an answer is wrong, write a one-line correction before beginning again. Name both the right claim and the excluded overclaim. This prevents repeated guessing and makes the second attempt a genuine learning cycle. A quick pass achieved by memorising button positions is less valuable than a slower pass built from evidence.
Guidance for adults and mixed-age learners
Read options aloud for younger learners without simplifying the correct answer into a clue. Let bereaved learners pause. Do not use severe imagery, ask for private death experiences or turn mistakes into warnings about destiny. For older learners, ask why the rejected option exceeds its source.
Ages 8–11 can point to the correct panel and name one fact. Teenagers can classify each option as explicit, inferred or unsupported. Adults can explain the hadith/Qur’an layer and the pastoral risk of overclaiming. If a discussion exposes self-harm risk, abuse or immediate danger, stop assessment and use appropriate emergency or safeguarding support.

Qur’an evidence
Qur'an-primary; controlled Quran Foundation QPC Hafs panels. Named translations are visibly labelled and are not revelation. Named tafsir remains attributed commentary. Arabic, word alignment, transliteration and named translations are supplied through the separately labelled Quran Foundation panels.
Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated record: bukhari:1374, muslim:1631. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).
Release control
This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master The Last Day: Knowledge Check
The Last Day · knowledge check Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read The Last Day: Knowledge Check yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Reopen the death and barzakh evidence mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 3:185)?”
“What does Review the bounded authenticated reports mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 23:99)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Answer all twelve questions.
Use the answer-specific feedback and exact source locators before retrying until 100% mastery.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
