O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded [i.e., advised].

Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! enter not houses other than your own, until ye have asked permission and saluted those in them: that is best for you, in order that ye may heed (what is seemly).

Begin with the complete Qur’anic or authenticated hadith panel rather than a memory slogan. Identify exactly what it establishes before choosing an answer.
Choose the answer that preserves both the teaching and its stated limit.
Use every correction as part of the lesson. Reopen the named Qur’anic or hadith panel, identify the missed distinction and explain the corrected answer in one plain sentence before attempting the item again.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
Practical examples explain the displayed evidence. Personal rulings, family danger and complex circumstances need suitable qualified support; a learning score does not decide a person’s faith.

Primary · Saheeh International
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you – some of you, among others. Thus does Allāh make clear to you the verses [i.e., His ordinances]; and Allāh is Knowing and Wise.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come to puberty, ask leave of you at three times (before they come into your presence): Before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat of noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). Thus Allah maketh clear the revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! let those whom your right hands possess, and the (children) among you who have not come of age ask your permission (before they come to your presence), on three occasions: before morning prayer; the while ye doff your clothes for the noonday heat; and after the late-night prayer: these are your three times of undress: outside those times it is not wrong for you or for them to move about attending to each other: Thus does Allah make clear the Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

Identify whether an answer rests on the displayed Qur’an, an authenticated report or a practical teaching suggestion. A chosen family routine must not be presented as a prescribed religious number.
Choose the answer that keeps these layers distinct.
A 100% result shows that these assessment distinctions were answered correctly. It does not measure a person’s sincerity or authorise the learner to inspect another family. Use the result to identify what to practise and which question still needs discussion.
Read once for meaning and a second time for boundaries. On the second reading, test strong words such as always, never, invalid and required against the complete evidence shown.
Practical examples explain the displayed evidence. Personal rulings, family danger and complex circumstances need suitable qualified support; a learning score does not decide a person’s faith.

Choose a lesson, read its sources and try one manageable action. Discuss a fictional household before discussing your own. Keep personal details private, record the last learning step, and return to the source when a question needs correction. Get appropriate help with danger, complex family rights or a personal religious ruling.
Follow the source, understand the household circumstances and select an action that respects the people involved.
When two answers sound plausible, choose the one that preserves the complete source and its stated boundary. A familiar practice is not made safer by claiming consensus that the evidence record does not establish.
An adult guiding a child should praise careful attention and an honest “I need to ask” answer. The aim is worship with understanding, not performance for the teacher.
Practical examples explain the displayed evidence. Personal rulings, family danger and complex circumstances need suitable qualified support; a learning score does not decide a person’s faith.

Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Abu Huraira reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) connected faith with not harming a neighbour, honouring a guest, and speaking good or remaining silent.
Evidence use
The report turns belief into concrete neighbourly safety, hospitality and disciplined speech.

But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do –
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
"But if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the end the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did."

A general household lesson cannot decide a family crisis or determine someone’s beliefs from an object or rumour. Privacy, genuine capacity and protection from harm remain part of responsible teaching.
Choose referral when the real case exceeds the displayed evidence.
The saved attempt should show whether the learner missed purpose, sequence, source identity, safety or referral. Adults assigning this check should discuss that category instead of focusing only on the percentage.
If terminology becomes difficult, return to the practical question: what is the learner preparing to do, which step is established here, and what fact about the person or situation could change the answer?
Practical examples explain the displayed evidence. Personal rulings, family danger and complex circumstances need suitable qualified support; a learning score does not decide a person’s faith.
Review move: Write one household question without sharing anyone’s private details.
A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Aishah reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) worked for his family at home and went out when he heard the call to prayer.
Evidence use
Authenticated close-household evidence joining practical service with organised worship.

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name [i.e., mention] of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

Let not a folk deride a folk who may be better than they (are), not let women (deride) women who may be better than they are; neither defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. Bad is the name of lewdness after faith. And whoso turneth not in repentance, such are evil-doers.

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allāh; indeed, Allāh is Accepting of Repentance and Merciful.
Compare · M. Pickthall
O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a crime. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And keep your duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it… But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated records: bukhari:6018, bukhari:5363; distinguish report wording from practical application. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).

This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master Home Privacy and Gentle Correction Mastery Check
Twelve questions test Hospitality, Privacy and Family Character and Removing Superstition without Harshness. Every answer includes evidence-directed feedback, signed-in attempts are saved and the pass mark is 100% so correction becomes part of the learning. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read Home Privacy and Gentle Correction Mastery Check yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Read the household teaching in its source mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 24:27)?”
“What does Separate evidence and practical family choices mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 10:107)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Complete the specific learning moves in each section.
Use the source and feedback to explain corrections before retrying.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
