Hajj: Types, Rites and the Farewell Pilgrimage · mastery check
Twelve questions test Stoning, Sacrifice, Tawaf and Completion and The Farewell Pilgrimage and Lasting Lessons. Every answer includes evidence-directed feedback, signed-in attempts are saved and the pass mark is 100% so correction becomes part of the learning.
A learner-facing transliteration is deliberately withheld until the complete Arabic wording has passed assigned language review. Learn the supplication from a capable teacher rather than guessing from English letters.
Meaning in English
This is a source-bound editorial paraphrase for understanding. It is not the Arabic report and is not presented as a verbatim translation.
Editorial paraphrase
Jabir reported seeing Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him) perform a Hajj rite and instruct people to learn their rites from him.
Evidence use
This establishes deliberate practical transmission in Hajj.

Arabic scope
Only two exact orientation clauses are reproduced. The authoritative page retains the very long complete matn; this panel must not imply that an excerpt is a complete ritual guide.
Evidence boundary
The panel reproduces only a limited exact Arabic excerpt and must link to the complete long report; it is not a self-guided ritual manual.

Begin with the complete Qur’anic or authenticated hadith panel rather than a memory slogan. Identify exactly what it establishes before choosing an answer.
The safest option preserves the wording, sequence and limit shown.
Use every correction as part of the lesson. Reopen the named Qur’anic or hadith panel, identify the missed distinction and explain the corrected answer in one plain sentence before attempting the item again.
Keep three lines in your notes: what the source explicitly says, what this lesson explains, and what remains for qualified review. That structure makes later correction clear rather than embarrassing.
This resource teaches a source-led shared route. Personal health, pregnancy, menstruation, fidya, compensatory duties, pilgrimage form, accessibility, sacrifice, omitted rites and local operational rules remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.

Primary · Saheeh International
Their meat will not reach Allāh, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
Compare · M. Pickthall
Their flesh and their food reach not Allah, but the devotion from you reacheth Him. Thus have We made them subject unto you that ye may magnify Allah that He hath guided you. And give good tidings (O Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him)) to the good.
The salutation is an editorial addition; the stored translation is unchanged.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.

Prayer is learned through complete, calm actions. Speed, display and extra repetition are not substitutes for the established step.
Prefer the answer that completes the demonstrated action with stillness.
When two answers sound plausible, choose the one that preserves the complete source and its stated boundary. A familiar practice is not made safer by claiming consensus that the evidence record does not establish.

Named translations
Saheeh International (resource 20), M. Pickthall (resource 19), and A. Yusuf Ali (resource 22).
Complete recitation
Mishari Rashid al-‘Afasy, Quran Foundation recitation resource 7.
Controlled check
Arabic, audio locators, word alignment and named source identifiers checked 30 August 2026. Automated parity does not replace qualified Arabic/Qur’an review.
Reopen the named locator for every missed answer. State what was confused—purpose, source, sequence, safety or scope—before retrying.
The feedback is teaching, not punishment.
Do not ask a child to make private family, financial, medical or intimate details public. Use neutral examples, route protected questions to an appropriate trusted adult and qualified teacher, and keep every correction calm and proportionate.
A resume point can preserve more than scroll position. Save the last completed step, the unresolved question and the next safe action so the learner can continue without unnecessary repetition.
This resource teaches a source-led shared route. Personal health, pregnancy, menstruation, fidya, compensatory duties, pilgrimage form, accessibility, sacrifice, omitted rites and local operational rules remain assigned to qualified review before indexing.
Review move: Correct each missed distinction in plain language.

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.
Compare · M. Pickthall
(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart – of each of these it will be asked.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

Meaning in translation
Saheeh International is the primary reading. The two named comparisons make translation choices visible; none is presented as the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Primary · Saheeh International
Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."
Compare · M. Pickthall
Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.
Compare · A. Yusuf Ali
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Passing records mastery of this assessment. Continue practical observation and qualified correction; do not use a score as authority over another person.
Save the corrected distinction and next learning action.
Complete the check without copying from a clipped answer card. The purpose is to build a dependable method: read, distinguish, practise, check once, record and refer when the question exceeds the lesson.
Explain the practice in plain language before using legal vocabulary. If the simple sentence overstates the evidence, a technical Arabic label will not repair it.

Qur’an evidence
Qur'an-primary; controlled Quran Foundation QPC Hafs panels. Named translations are human renderings and later fiqh remains separately attributed. Arabic, word alignment, transliteration and named translations are supplied through the separately labelled Quran Foundation panels.
Hadith evidence
Controlled authenticated record: muslim:1297, muslim:1218a, bukhari:1691. Report wording, grading, legal classification and personal application remain distinct. The collection and reference are preserved; a named displayed grading is not silently changed into a universal claim.
Teaching explanation
Explanatory prose, examples, diagrams and adult teaching advice are Tawheed Club editorial material. They are never presented as Qur’an, translation, tafsir or words of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Peace and blessings be upon him).
Release control
This item must pass source, meaning, language, editorial and release checks. Corrections remain welcome when supported by an exact source locator.
Help a learner master Hajj Rites and Farewell Lessons Mastery Check
Twelve questions test Stoning, Sacrifice, Tawaf and Completion and The Farewell Pilgrimage and Lasting Lessons. Every answer includes evidence-directed feedback, signed-in attempts are saved and the pass mark is 100% so correction becomes part of the learning. Your role is to slow the learning down, keep the exact evidence visible and make it safe for the learner to say, “I am not sure yet.”
Begin with the source
Open the named ayah or hadith before explaining it. Tell the learner whether they are seeing Arabic revelation, a reading aid, a named translation, a hadith translation or editorial teaching.
Invite an answer before helping
Ask one precise question and wait. If the learner struggles, point to the relevant line, narrow the choice or replay the audio before supplying the answer.
Correct with dignity
Praise honest checking and careful effort. Correct the idea or sound without labelling the learner, and never turn a mistake into embarrassment.
01Prepare a focused session
Read Hajj Rites and Farewell Lessons Mastery Check yourself and open every cited source before inviting the learner.
Choose one realistic aim from the mastery statement. Do not try to teach the whole page in one sitting.
Test any Arabic audio. If a sound is outside your confidence, plan to listen together and seek correction from a capable teacher.
Remove distractions and decide when to stop: about 8–10 minutes for a younger child, 15–20 minutes for ages 8–11, or 20–30 minutes for an older learner.
Keep paper optional. If Qur’anic text is printed, follow the respect and waste guidance shown above the ayah panel.
Opening words: “We are going to learn one idea carefully and see exactly where it comes from. We can pause, replay and check the source whenever we need to.”
02Use a source-led teaching conversation
Connect: Ask what the learner already thinks the title means. Record the answer without immediately judging it.
Read or listen: Open the first evidence panel or cited report. Hear the complete Arabic before isolating one word or phrase.
Notice: Ask the learner to identify the exact words that support the first teaching point. A contextual word gloss is a clue; the complete named translation supplies the sentence meaning.
Explain: Read the teaching paragraph. Ask, “Which part came directly from the source, and which part is the writer helping us understand?”
Apply: Choose one practice task. Keep everyday examples within the boundary of the source; do not invent promises, hidden causes or rulings.
Retrieve: Close the explanation and ask the learner to state the idea, evidence locator and one careful application in their own words.
03Questions for this exact resource
“What does Read the controlling source mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 22:37)?”
“What does Distinguish command and demonstration mean here, and which words or source locator support your answer (Qur'an 2:197)?”
“Which sentence is revelation or hadith, and which sentence is explanation?”
“What would be an overstatement that the cited source does not allow us to make?”
04Adapt the same truth for different ages
Ages 5–7
Teach one short source phrase and one meaning. Use text cards, colour bands, paths or simple geometric symbols—never a picture of اللّٰه(ALLAH) and never an image that implies His form. Let the child point, match, listen and repeat once or twice.
Ages 8–11
Use two or three evidence cards and ask the learner to match each idea to its locator. Invite a short explanation in their own words, then reopen the source to correct it together.
Ages 12–15
Compare the named English translations where provided. Ask what wording differs, what remains constant, and why a translation must not be called the Arabic Qur’an itself.
Ages 16+ and adults
Require a precise claim, an exact source locator and a stated boundary. Invite the learner to distinguish established meaning from inference and to mark any unresolved question for qualified review.
05Support Arabic without creating false confidence
Listen to the whole ayah or supplication first.
Follow the Arabic from right to left and use the word-level controls only after hearing the complete wording.
Treat transliteration as temporary scaffolding. It cannot reproduce every Arabic sound.
Let the learner echo a short unit, then return it to the full phrase so meaning and pronunciation remain connected.
If neither of you can hear or form a sound confidently, record it for a capable Qur’an or Arabic teacher. Do not manufacture an English substitute and call it exact.
Gentle correction: “Let us listen once more and notice where the sound begins,” protects both accuracy and confidence.
06Choose one useful follow-up
Answer all twelve questions.
Use answer-specific feedback and exact source locators before retrying to 100% mastery.
Complete one task independently before adding another. Adult support should reveal the route, not hide whether the learner can use it.
07Revisit for durable mastery
After 24 hours · five minutes
Ask for the central idea without showing the answer.
Ask the learner to find its source locator.
Replay one Arabic phrase and reconnect it to the complete meaning.
Correct by reopening the source, then end with one successful retrieval.
After seven days · eight minutes
Ask for the idea, source and boundary in the learner’s own words.
Retry the most difficult mastery question.
Apply the idea to one new but appropriate situation.
Record what is secure and what needs another supported attempt.
